Taiwan is one of the countries in my travel wish list. Mainly because my childhood idol is from Taiwan and also the good review from my friends. So I decided to make my graduation trip to Taiwan with coursemates.
The whole trip cost me less than MYR 3.5k including flights and accommodation. We book the ticket from Airasia 9 months in advanced when we camped in Uni computer lab for our final year project. Usually trip only works when we book tickets at random time. The return flight cost us around MYR700 -750 with baggage checked in and meal. Our accommodation was roughly MYR 50-60 per person per night. Most of it we book it through LINE app or facebook messenger and paid when we reach the hotel.

I'm gonna admit I'm WAY TOO ambitious in planning the trip. Eventually I became a walking zombie when I touched down in Taipei. We changed 5 hotel throughout the 10 days trip and travel from the most south of Taiwan and ended it in Taipei. I will recommend to take it slowly if you really want to enjoy the trip and scenery more. I brought a notebook when travelling around Taipei to record my expenses collect stamp at every tourist spot. It's like collecting immigration stamp when you travel around the world. You can find the stamp in all tourist attraction and every subway station has their unique own stamp too. You can even find it in cafe or hostel you staying! You can find most of them place near the ticket counter, info counter or entrance.
