Taking a break from Taiwan post and going to keep my blog with more up to date post. This post is about the last weekend getaway with university friends (Nott growing up gang) in Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson on the first long weekend in December. Long weekend matter a lot once I started my working life and December is definitely a favourite month with having long weekend weekly (only applicable to company registered under Selangor tho. :D) We spent less than RM100 for the short weekend getaway thanks to the two free room vouchers from Kezhin.

It was a simple getaway that we didn’t plan much on the detail. We started our trip with lunch in Kajang and reached PD around 3 pm. Lexis hibiscus offers a good services compared to Grand Lexis PD. There have sufficient parking lots for the customer and also free drinks and wet towel provided at the lobby. The check in of room doesn’t took us long time and we got to our room using their buggy services.

The room comes with two king sized bed and I owned one of it completely since we have only 7 people in tthe trip. Each room has its own mini private pool facing the sea and the pool of other room too. The room is cosy that will give you a good rest from the hectic life.
The hotel provided us with complimentary drinks and snacks including cookies and some crackers. So the first activity (after exploring the room) was definitely playing around at the private pool. The height of the pool is only 1.2m. So basically it is not suitable to swim for adult. We just soaked at the water and fool around with pictures using fam's waterproof phone.

Before we headed out for dinner we saw a beautiful sunset in front of the door of our room while waiting for buggy services.
At night there are performances near the public pool, right outside of the restaurant. Since the weather is good and cool at night, we tried to check out what's at the end of the petal. FYI, the water villa was built according the shape of hibiscus which is the national flower of Malaysia. Nothing surprise us as the construction is still on-going for the water villa furthest away from the resort. We manage to sneak in to one of the room and see the interior design. The room are slightly bigger than the one we staying in Petal 2 and the balcony provide a better view than ours.
We basically stayed there for less than 24 hours. However the experience is good. We get to catch up with each other after graduated and having fun inside the hotel room. Found a new app from play store called Who is spy which is really exciting to play with! Before we checked out from the hotel, we did some photoshoot by our pro photographer - Ee Xuen and I really love the pictures.

Before we leaving PD, we sent out postcard of the hotel to those not around for the trip too. The postcard is FOC while the posting costs us RM0.50 from the hotel receptionist. Hopefully we can have more trip together in the future even though everyone working at different location.
